My V&R Map is here :
“Wow!”
What I learned about privacy this week is that we did not know how to weaponize ourselves in an open online environment. Big data always monitor us in a way that is implicit, for example, I was on my phone talking with my friends about buying a pair of shoes, and then I turned on Taobao, the first recommended word in the search box is ‘AJ shoes’.
“Wonder?”
I wonder if there’s an efficient way for us to protect our privacy while allowing us to partake the online activities. In my example above, I didn’t do anything that will leak my private information, I was just talking with my friends. So is it the digital devices monitoring us or the internet?
